"Inspired by the beautiful and sacrificial act of Jesus Christ as the atonement for our sins. I used a delicate yet strong and bold southern magnolia to represent this work. . Created with the colors of red for sacrifice, white for purity, blue/teal for the living water, green for new life, and gold for spiritual refining that we cannot do in and of ourselves. The Atonement boasts a bold statement but beautiful picture of nature and redemption of the human condition."
