Artist Statement
I am an artist dedicated to working with pencil, and sometimes a color or two. Recreating reality is not my only goal, although I push the limits of my medium. I use my skills to evoke emotions and perhaps tell a story. I live in Cave Creek, Arizona where the cowboy culture is still alive and I find an abundance of ideas for my art. My graphite drawings are done on Bristol plate paper or Coquille paper, which is a stippled surface. I generally use this for my larger pieces. The pencils I use range from 2H to 6B depending on the piece. Contact me for availability and pricing on my original drawings.
