Once upon a time, I graduated from high art school, but I started art studies when I was 50 years old. It was a great adventure and development for me. I also studied abroad - in Portugal at the Higher School of Art and Design. I have gone through many levels and stages of my painting. I learned the oil technique, watercolors, but I love acrylic. Currently, my paintings are inspired by everyday life - family, our 2 dogs, vacation time. It's good that I always have a camera phone with me. I often take pictures because these are moments that will never repeat themselves again. I think artist painters see more than other people.

My painting is a bit like Rubik's Cube. I collect elements from several photos and arrange the composition on one canvas. I create a new space, a new narrative. I like to combine colorful, minimalist backgrounds with realistic characters and objects. I am also moved by important events in my country and in the world, but I never create in sadness or anger.

Virtual Show Dates:  July 1 - August 31, 2022
