Artist Statement

In my artistic journey, animals hold a special place in my heart. Embracing the challenge of portraying their intricate nuances and sometimes quirky character, I find it magical to use pastels to create dense fur and slender whiskers. My focus remains on the eyes developing them by using shape, color, marks and detail to share the captivating and expressive ways in which they reflect the interconnectedness of all living beings.
