Casey Cheuvront

Casey Cheuvront studied (among other things) drawing, painting, sculpture and ceramics at CSUF California, and has been influenced (and instructed) by current artists like Douglas Fryer, Bill Cramer, Dave Santillanes, Alan Wolton, Matt Smith, Stanley Kurth, Mary Bentz Gilkerson, Gretchen Lopez, Casey Klahn, and Camille Przewodek.

Her work is informed not only by formal study but also by her ongoing plein air habit and life-long appreciation of the natural world, established through a "feet-on-the trail" connection over many years. Her outdoor education began when she was very young, accompanying her father on long treks, fishing, hiking, bow-hunting, archery exhibitions and professional competitive archery shoots. Later, she backpacked her way across the Sierras and the Uintas, flew California peaks in her hang glider, skied Utah powder, and mountain biked many happy trails in the Arizona desert.

Cheuvront’s pieces reveal an ongoing fascination with the Western and Southwestern wilderness, whether reflected in a local trail or a remote lake only reachable by a long backpack. Her enthusiasm is translated into a vibrant, modern palette and energetic, dynamic brushwork. Look for studio and plein air works showcasing the Yosemite Valley and highlands, the Sonoran desert, and the red rocks of Sedona.

Cher Pruys

Cher Pruys was born in Regina. Over the years she lived in many places including Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Fort Frances, settling into her present home in Devlin, on the banks of the Rainy River with her husband Mark, and pets.

By age three, Cher was seldom found without a drawing tool in hand. She worked in pencil, charcoal and ink over the years, until she picked up a paintbrush at the age of 35. Beginning with oil paints, she found her chosen mediums in acrylic, watercolor and gouache. Although self-taught, her dedication and talent have seen her work juried into 976 International exhibits. She has garnished 1487 awards thus far. She was the first recipient of a major Canadian National Award, The Mary Pratt Crystal Award of Excellence at the 2014 SCA Open Juried Exhibition, The SCA 1st place award of distinction twice respectively, 2016, and 2017 at The Canada’s 150 show. The SCA 2nd place Award of Distinction in the 2021 Elected Members Show. The winner of the Biafarin/SCA Award of Excellence at the 2022 Elected Members Show. October 2021 Winner of The Exclusive Harmony of The Arts Contest by The Blue Blood Gallery in Prague. The Gold Medal recipient for Figurative Painting in The Mondial Art Academia’s International 2018 Competition. The Silver Medal for Portrait Painting in the 2020 International Art Professional World Art Acadamia Competition. The Aviation Week & Space Technology Award Best of the Best, and the ASAA Award of Distinction for the best painting in the ASAA International Space & Technology Exhibit & Competition, consecutively for 2 years. In 2020 & 2021 & 2023 she was awarded with the most wins in The American Art International Awards. The Grand Prize Winner in The AWA (American Women Artists) 2022 Spring Online Show with a perfect score for “In Retrospect”. The Creative Award in The IGOR 2021 Fall Salon, & The American Collectors Editors Choice Award in the 2025 19th Annual IGOR Exhibition. 2nd place in the AAPL elected Members online show 2022, 1st place in the AAPL elected Members online show 2025, Award of Distinction in the 2023 Pushing Forward Reaching Back Show, and a 3rd place in the NOAPS 2022 Spring Online Artist Members Show, Best Still Life in the NOAPS 2025 Best of American Small works exhibition. 2023 saw her win the Gold Medal of honour at the Allied Artists of Americas 110th show! Painter of The Year 2025 Artavita Artist of the year Competition. She has had 26 solo exhibits. Cher is also an avid fused glass artist, and a certified teacher of piano and guitar. Her painting “The Bubble” had the honour of being part of the Masterworks from The International Guild of Realism Tour. Her work has graced the covers of 3 books, 45 magazines, including The Best Of Acrylic Fall 2021, cover of May Arabella Magazine with “In Retrospect”, the cover of #20 Hyperrealism Magazine with “Girls Girls Girls”, #21 Hyperrealism Magazine with “The Young Cowboy”, March Artists & Illustrators Art magazine, the cover of the July Artistonish Magazine, Observica Elite 2024, Art Close Up Magazine #26, January 2025, Novum Artis #007 2025, Hyperrealism Magazine Special Edition 2025, The Amazing World Of Cher Pruys and Sfumato Art Gallery Fall Exhibition 2026, “Reawakening’s”. Christopher Forslund

I’m Christopher Forslund, a full-time RV nomad and a wildlife and landscape photographer who spends as much time as possible chasing light, quiet mornings, and the beauty of the natural world.

I grew up in the coastal mountains of Northern California, where my love for nature and photography really took root. From my early days in the Boy Scouts to a 17-year career in law enforcement, with a chapter as a touring musician in between, I’ve been fortunate to travel across the country for most of my life. No matter where I was, I always kept a camera close by.

There was a point early on when I realized I was spending more time watching than photographing, waiting for light to change, for behavior to settle, for a moment to unfold rather than forcing it. That shift stayed with me. It changed the way I work in the field and the way I think about images. I still return to that same patience every time I pick up the camera.

These days, my photography leans heavily toward birds and wildlife. There’s something about their presence, their behavior, and the way a moment can come and go in an instant that pulls me in every time. I’m always looking for the right light, the right angle, and the subtle details that turn a simple encounter into an image you can feel.

For me, it’s never just about technical perfection. It’s about emotion, using available light, color, and atmosphere to convey the feeling I had when the shutter clicked. When everything comes together, an image can say more than words ever could, and that’s what I chase every time I head into the field.

My wife, Tangee, and I travel full time in our RV, exploring the backroads of this incredible country. I’m rarely in one place for long, there’s always another sunrise, another bird encounter, another stretch of road that might hold something unforgettable. It’s a lifestyle that blends my love of photography with our love of travel, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Dylan Perlot

Dylan Perlot is a French-born photographer known for crafting images that feel refined yet raw. Based in Los Angeles, he works across international fashion and editorial photography, blending high-fashion sensibility with a distinctive sense of tension and softness.

Drawing on European influences, Perlot creates editorial and commercial imagery that feels both timeless and modern. His photographs are built with intention: shaped by deliberate light, careful composition, and a mood that lingers long after the frame. He is known for creating portraits that carry a strong visual presence while preserving intimacy and depth.

Perlot’s work appears in leading international publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Numéro, and Glamour, to name a few. In 2020 and 2023, his multiple photography projects received international recognition, with notable awards adding to the success of his series United, exhibited in Barcelona, Spain, during the Panoràmic Festival in late 2020.

He continues to do what he does best: building a body of work driven by visual storytelling, honoring artistry and pushing visual boundaries.

Jan Lowe

I am a signatory artist with the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (AGRA), and a member for over 25+ years. I studied in Canada/US and hold a Degree in Fine Art. Now work full-time as a professional artist/tutor/judge. Had the privilege to be invited as a judge for art shows in Australia and for various online international art shows in the US. As a realist artist, I work with Scratchboard, Watercolour on Claybord, Oil, and Pastel.

Within my paintings, I endeavour to investigate the dynamics of the subjects, including the manipulation of their effects and movement. I aim to show nature at its most diverse, with colour and motion, telling a story that encourages creativity. My art is what I see and feel. Catching the vitality, emotion, passion, and movement and recording that moment, it’s always a very personal journey. I question the concept of motion, revealing an inherent awkwardness, as with my paintings of mischievous little cats, yes, showing a stillness for a few seconds! What I wanted to achieve was to capture their individual, unique personality and nature that echoes our own vulnerabilities, establishing a link between the subject’s reality and that imagined by its conceiver. My subjects are ones I know, places I have been and there is a special bond of how I felt for the place or creature. Animals are so exacting, to capture them from life is a challenge, so I do finish my subject with my photographs within my studio.

My subjects, including our beautiful nature, I find interesting and memorable. My artworks have received recognition as a winning artist in Australia, Europe, Canada, and the US. I have been so lucky to have been invited to hang in the US within the International Scratchboard Artists Society's annual shows –(invited) in Niagara Falls Gallery (Ontario, Canada), in the ISSA Scratchboard show in the US in Berea, Kentucky and Arizona and South Australia. Since COVID, I have mainly exhibited on the internet. My Art features in international online competitions, receiving successes such as Best in Show, Best Paintings, Work of Excellence, 1st, 2nd & 3rd, Best Drawing in the UK, France, Australia, Germany, Canada, and the US. My works have also been published in Europe, Canada and the US.

Exhibited solo and jointly since 2001, my last solo exhibition, in 2022, was held at the Victorian Artists Society Cato Gallery in Melbourne, Australia. However, I regularly exhibit in Melbourne and participate in international online competitions, and I also feature in various publications in France, the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic (Prague).

Julia Doemland

After a fulfilling and varied work life, award-winning pastelist Julia Doemland returned to her first love: painting the landscape. As a young woman she studied fine arts at Parson School of Design and Brooklyn College. She later went on to study other interests and remained in academia teaching exercise and sport psychology at Rutgers University before retiring.

Julia lives in the Sourland mountain region of central New Jersey, a rich and diverse landscape characterized by mature forest and pastoral passes amid farmland, native grass, and wetlands. This special area is the inspiration for much of her work. Through the use of pastels, the unique qualities of the Sourlands comes to life. Her focus is on early morning light as it illuminates the roads, fields and trees, water and the sky.

Marie McCallum

ABOUT
Marie McCallum was born in Los Angeles, CA and studied painting at Otis College of Art and Design and Sign Graphics at Los Angeles Trade Tech. McCallum pursued a career in the sign industry as a sign artist and gilder, later adding trompe l'oeil and mural painting to expand her business. She started painting full time as fine artist in 2000.

STATEMENT
My interest in projected self-image shows up in my depictions of clothing, shop windows, storefronts, and automobiles. Thinking graphically and painting in a realistic style is a natural for me. My work is dynamic and vibrant with a perspective that pulls the viewer in and allows them to immediately sense a familiarity with the subject matter. Most of this imagery has a personal connection for me. Clothing can figure prominently in my work influenced by my tailor grandmother who was a creative force in my life. Much of my technique is informed by my former occupation as a trompe l’oeil painter and sign artist.

Michelle Reeves

Award-winning contemporary botanical artist Michelle Reeves creates original paintings inspired by the belief that beauty is far more than decoration—it is an essential part of a meaningful life. In just six years, Michelle's work has received more than 30 international awards, appeared in 17+ publications, and been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe, including Paris, New York, Washington, D.C., and Italy. Her paintings are held in private collections around the world. Painting entered Michelle's life unexpectedly during one of the most difficult seasons of her life. What began as a deeply personal search for healing became a calling she never anticipated. Without formal artistic training, she discovered that painting offered something words often could not—a way to process loss, celebrate hope, and rediscover beauty through the creative process. Today, Michelle creates contemporary botanical paintings that invite collectors to slow down, look closer, and experience beauty not as an escape from life, but as an essential part of living it.
